What is the amount of rice that he sold if he makes an overall profit of Rs. 1400?

The correct option is B 330 Kg

His actual $CP=\frac{10}{1.1}=Rs.9.09/Kg$
His actual SP $=\frac{12}{0.9}=Rs.13.33/Kg$
Profit from selling a Kg. of rice = Rs. 4.24
Amount of rice sold $=\frac{1400}{4.24}=330Kg.$
