A farmer has enough food to feed 20 animal in his cattle for 6 days. How long would the food last if there were 10 more animals in his cattle ?

If 10 more animal,s join the cattle the number becomes 30. As

More the number of animals, the sooner would the provisions exhaust. Therefore this is the case of inverse proportion.

So, Number of animals x days = constant

20x 6 = 30 x n

n = 120/30
​​​​​​n = 4

So, the provisions will last for 4 days , if 10 more animals are added.
