Given,
The ratio of ages $=12:15=4:5$
Total money $=Rs1800$

So, the money has to be divided in the ratio $4:5$.
And total of ratio = 4+5 = 9
So, the multiplier = $1800÷9=200$
$\therefore$ Younger son's share
$=4\times 200=Rs800$
And older son's share
$=5\times 200=Rs1000$
