Rs 800, Rs 1000


The ratio of their age is 12 : 15 or 4 : 5. So, the money has to be divided in this ratio.
Let the shares of the two sons be 4x and 5x respectively.
Now, 4x + 5x = 9x.
9x = 1800, x = 200 and hence, their shares would be Rs. 800 and Rs. 1000.
