Sexual reproduction is process where new organisms are produced due to the fusion of the male reproductive cell, i.e., the sperm with the female reproductive cell, i.e., ovum. The body formed on fusion of ovum and sperm is called zygote. Further multiple cell division of zygote gives rise to embryo, which ultimately results in the formation of offspring. Since there is a fusion of nucleus during zygote formation, the offsprings produced have a unique combination of genetic makeup of both the parents. Thus, all offsprings produced even from same parents are different from each other.
