The correct option is C $3.25 m$
Let $h$ be the height of sill from the window.

Initial velocity of the pot was zero and taking downward direction positive,
$h = u t + \frac{1}{2} g t^{2}$
$\Rightarrow h = 0 + \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times (\frac{1}{2})^{2}$
$\Rightarrow h = 1.25 m$
Hence height of window sill from ground $= 1.25 + 2 = 3.25 m$
