Pollination:

  1. The transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same or different flower is called pollination.

Wind pollination:

  1. The pollination that takes place through the wind is called anemophily.
  2. The stamen(male reproductive part) of the flower is long and are protruded outside the flower.
  3. The flower in which pollination through wind takes place produces light and dry pollen grain so that they are easily viable in the wind.
  4. Examples: Wheat, Corn, Barley, etc.
