The correct option is B16 yards We know 60 minutes = 1 hour.
As per the given situation, the football team loses 4 yards every 15 minutes. ∴ Number of yards the football team loses in 1 minutes =415 yards
Number of yards the football team loses in 60 minutes =60× Number of yards football team loses in 1 minute ⇒ Number of yards football team loses in 60 minutes = (60×415) yards
=60×415 yards
=24015 yards (∵60×4=240)
Now, 240÷15 can be evaluated as:
∴240÷15=16 R 0
