The correct option is B 2 m/s2
Let the mass of body A and B be mA and mB respectively.

Using, F=ma

For body A:

12=mA×4

mA=3 kg

For body B:

12=mB×6

mB=2 kg

When they are tied together, the combined mass, m=mA+mB=5 kg

So, when a force of 10 N acts on it,

10=5×a

a=2 m/s2
