  • Whenever a force displaces a body with some distance, there is work being done.
  • Work done is given as W.D=FScosx

Where F= force applied

S = Displacement covered

x = Angle between force and displacement

Given data:

Force applied F = 60N

Distance covered = 4m

Applying this to the given data:

W.D=FScosx=60×4×cos60=240×12=120J
