Solution

The correct option is A Rs.5
Let the cost price be Rs.x
so, when it is sold at a profit of 25, SP=Rs.1.25x
If selling price increases by Re.1,
profit becomes 50
1.25x+1=1.5x0.25x=1x=10.25=4Price=1.25×4=5
