A fruit vendor sells fruits from his shop. Selling prices of Apple, Mango and Orange are Rs. 20, Rs. 10 and Rs. 5 each respectively. The sales in three days are given below

Write the matrix indicating the total amount collected on each day and hence find the total amount collected from selling of all three fruits combined.

Total amount $= ⎡ ⎢ ⎣ \begin{matrix} 20 \times 50 & 60 \times 10 & 30 \times 5 20 \times 40 & 70 \times 10 & 20 \times 5 20 \times 60 & 40 \times 10 & 10 \times 5 \end{matrix} ⎤ ⎥ ⎦ = ⎡ ⎢ ⎣ \begin{matrix} 1000 & 600 & 150 800 & 700 & 100 1200 & 400 & 50 \end{matrix} ⎤ ⎥ ⎦$
Total amount collected for three day after selling all fruits $= 300 + 1700 + 300 = R s .5000 .$
Hence, the answer is $R s .5000 .$
