Solution

Total no. of bananas - 500
cost he baught them for - Rs 24 per dozen
Cost of 1 banana - 24/12 = 2
Total money spent - 2 x 500 = Rs 1000

Cost of 1 banana if 4 are sold for Rs 6 - 6/4 = 1.5
Money earned for selling 200 bananas 4 for Rs 6 - 1.5 x 200
= 300
Cost of 1 banana if 2 are sold for Rs 4 - 4/2 = 2
Money earned for selling remaining 300 bananas 2 for Rs 4 - 2 x 300
= Rs 600

Loss or Profit
Money spent for buying - Rs 1000
Money earned by selliing - Rs 900

MONEY LOST = 100 Rs

loss percentage = 100 / 1000 * 100 = 10%
