Given: PVa12=constant ...(1)
For adiabatic process, PVγ = constant
..(2)
equating both the equations we get,
a12=γ
a=γ+12

for monoatomic gas, γ=53
a=53+12

for diatomic gas, γ=75
a=75+12
a=1910
