From lens-maker's formula
1f=(μ1)[1R11R2]
For glass lens in air medium
1fe=(μg1)(1R11R2)
When, the same lens is immersed in water, then
1fw=(gμw1)(1R11R2)
=(aμgaμw1) (1R11R2)
So, fwfa=(aμg1)(aμgaμw1) =32132×341=1/2988
fw=12×81fa=4fa
=4×0.4=1.6m.
