A godwan measures 40 m ×25 m ×15 m. Find the maximum number of wooden cretes each measuring 1.5 m ×1.25 m ×0.5 m, that can be stored in the godown.

The volume of the godown = L × B × H = 40 × 25 × 10
The volume of the godown = 10000 m³
Now,
The volume of one wooden crate = 1.5 × 1.25 × 0.5
The volume of one wooden crate = 0.9375 m³
Total number of wooden crates that can be stored in the godown = Volume of the godownVolume of one wooden crate
= 100000.9375
= 10666.66 or 10666
So, the total number of wooden crates that can be stored in the godown is 10666
