Given,

Inner radius of hollow conducting sphere r1=R

Outer radius of hollow conducting sphere r2=2R

From the figure, it is clear that VA=VB as points A and B lie on the same equipotential surface.

For a hollow conducting sphere, Potential at any point inside the hollow sphere is same as the potential on its surface.
