Solution

The correct option is E Both B and C
Secretin and cholecystokinin are the hormones produced by the mucosa of the small intestine. Secretin causes the release of sodium bicarbonate solution from the pancreas for pancreatic juice and from the liver for bile. It also inhibits the secretion and movements of the stomach. Cholecystokinin stimulates the release of pancreatic juice. It also stimulates the gallbladder to release bile into the duodenum.
Relaxin is produced by corpus luteum at the end of the gestation period. It relaxes the cervix of uterus and ligaments of the pelvic girdle for the easy birth of young one.
Progesterone is also secreted by corpus luteum. It suspends ovulation during pregnancy, fixes the foetus to the uterine wall, forms the placenta and controls the development of the foetus in the uterus.
Thus, the correct answer is option E.
