A horse is tied to a pole fixed at one corner of a 30m×30m square field of grass by a 10m long rope. (π=3.14). Find the area of that part of the field in which the horse can graze. and represent the answer in the nearest integer.

The area of the field in which the horse can graze is one-fourth of the circle of radius =10m
Area of a circle =πr2
Hence, area of the field in which the horse can graze =14×227×10×10=78.5 sq m
