Animals that give birth and the animals that lay eggs can be identified in following ways:

• Animals haing visible ears and having body hairs give birth to young ones. (2 marks)
• Whereas, animals with feathers or scales (basically without body hairs) and no visible ears or no ears lay eggs. (2 marks)

b)

Examples of animals that give birth to young ones:
Cats, dogs, cow, humans, etc. (0.5 mark)

Examples of animals that give birth to young ones:
Crocodile, snake, hen, pigeons, etc. (0.5 mark)
