The correct option is B32 Given:
Diameter = 16.92Ao ∴radius=8.46Ao
(for hydrogen atom Z=1)
Hence, r=n2×0.529Ao 8.46=n2×0.529 n2=16 ∴n=4
Therefore, the maximum number of electron in the fourth orbit is = 2n2
= 2×42 = 32
