A juice factory produces 180 litres of juice everyday. If the juice carton has the following measurements: height = 12 cm, breadth = 3 cm and length = 5 cm, how many containers will be filled in a day? [4 MARKS]

Volume of a cuboid is
$l\times b\times h$.

where l = length,
b = breadth
h = height

Therefore volume of the carton is
$12\times 5\times 3=180c{m}^3$

1 litre is $1000c{m}^3$, therefore 180 litres is $180000c{m}^3$.

No of cartons that can be filled is
$\frac{180000}{180}=1000$

1000 containers will be filled in a day.
