The correct option is C 8m

Let C is the section where B.M. is maximum hence
AC=4m
BC=8m
For the bending moment at C to be maximum
W(L1a)AC=W.aBC

L1aa=ACBC

L1a1=ACBC

L1a=AC+BCBC

a=L1×BCAC+BC=6×84+8=4812=4m

Hence head of UDL shall be AC + a = 4 + 4 = 8 m from 'A'.
