The correct option is D 6 W
From Faraday's law of induction,

E=dϕdt=ddt(4t)=4 V

Because the flux is increasing into the paper, so the current will be in anticlockwise direction.

Hence, the total emf is Etotal=8+46=6 V in the anticlockwise direction.

As, I=EtotalR

where, R=4+2=6 Ω

So, I=66=1 A

Current is pumped into the battery, so power is supplied to the battery and that will be,

Power, P=VI=6(1)=6 W

Hence, option (A) is the correct answer.
