Given, velocity ratio, V.R =4
Load =200 N
Displacement =4 m
Effort =200 kgf=20×10=200 N
Work done by machine = Load × Displacement= 200 ×4 =800 J
Mechanical advantage, M.A = loadeffort
= 200200 = 1.
Efficiency = M.AV.R = 14.
Percentage efficiency = 14 × 100 = 25%.
Work done on the machine (input) = outputefficiency = 800(14) = 3200 J
