A male produces two types of gametes half containing X chromosomes and half containing Y chromosomes.
1. Both males and females have two sex chromosomes.
2. Human female has two X chromosomes which are located in a homologous pair.
3. Human male has also two sex chromosomes, X and Y, but they are not located in homologous pairs. The genes that are carried show a unique pattern of inheritance.
Thus male produces two types of gametes.
