The correct option is C 2,400
Let the number of oranges he first bought =x
Since 13 % were rotten, 10013=87% of the oranges are good.
Since he gave 75% of this remaining 87% good oranges, the number of oranges he will still have will be 25% of the remaining 87% good oranges.
Given,
25% of 87% of x=522
=>25100×87100×x=522
=>x=2400
Hence, the man had bought 2400 oranges first.
