The correct option is C 24 years and 4 years
Let the son's present age be x.
Then father's present age =6x
After 6 years, son's age =x+6 and father's age =6x+6
Given, after 6 years ,father's age =3×( son's age )
6x+6=3(x+6)
6x+6=3x+18
3x=12
x=4
So, son's present age is 4 years. Father's present age =6x=24 years.
