For loss of $10 %$ , $R s .99 = 90 % \times C P_{1} ⟹ C P_{1} = R s .110$
For profit of $10 %$ , $R s .99 = 110 % \times C P_{2} ⟹ C P_{2} = R s .90$
Total $C P = R s . (110 + 90) = 200$
Total $S P = 99 + 99 = 198$
Gain $% = \frac{200 - 198}{100} \times 100 = 1 %$
