Let X be the distance traveled in first part and Y be the distance traveled in the second part.
Now,
X/20 + Y/70 = (X+Y)/50
(7X+2Y)/140 = (X+Y)/50
350X+100Y=140X+140Y
210X = 40Y
Now,
X/Y=40/210
X:Y=4:21
