Open in App
Solution

Let the height of the cylinder be h cm.
Then, volume of the cylinder = Volume of the sphere

π×r2×h=43×π×r3

π×62×h=43×π×(4.2)3

h=4×4.2×4.2×4.23×6×6

h=4×0.7×0.7×1.4cm

h=2.74cm
