Let $x$ litres of milk be bought.
Cost price of $x$ litres of milk $=Rs12x$

Quantity of milk after $25$ % of water is added $=x+\frac{25}{100}x=\frac{5x}{4}$ litres


Given,
Selling price of $1$ litre of milk $=Rs15$
=> Selling price of $\frac{5x}{4}$ litres $=Rs\frac{5x}{4}\times 15=Rs\frac{75x}{4}$


Now, Profit % $=\frac{S.P.-C.P.}{C.P.}\times 100=\frac{\frac{75x}{4}-12x}{12x}\times 100=\frac{75-48}{48}\times 100=56.25$ %
