A mixture of 1 mole of benzaldehyde and 1 mole of acetophenone when reacted with I2/NaOH gives a yellow precipitate. The final mixture will contain ______ moles of iodoform.

Acetophenone ( a methyl ketone) reacts with halogens in presence of alkali to form haloform. This reaction is called haloform reaction.
Benzaldehyde does not gives haloform reaction. Hence, this reaction can be used to distinguish acetophenone and benzaldehyde.
