  • The reaction for sodium carbonate and calcium carbonate is given below
  • Now, from the above reactions, an equal amount of carbon dioxide is produced. So, from each reaction the carbon dioxide produced will be 5.6/2=2.8L.
  • 106 g of Na2CO3 will give 22.4L of CO2
  • So, 2.8LCO2= 10622.4×2.813g
  • and, 100 g of CaCO3 will give 22.4L of CO2
  • So, 2.8LCO2= 10022.4×2.812g
  • So, the initial quantity of the mixture is 13+12=25g

Hence, the correct option is (D).
