The binary salt contains one nitride atom from this we can deduce the valency of metal atom.
since there are 3 atoms of metals so the formula will be M3N.
The valency of metals is 1 .
sulphide has a valency 2 .
so the formula of binary salt will be M2S.
therefore it will contain 2 metal atoms.
