A multistory building has 25 floors above the ground level each of the height 5 m. It also has 3 floors in the basement each of height 5 m. A lift in the building moves at the rate of 3 m/sec. If a man starts from 50 m above the ground, how much time will it take to reach 2nd floor of the basement?

The correct option is C 36 m/sec
The height of each floor is 5 m.
Floor at which he is standing = 50m5m=10
So, total floor covered by lift = 10 + 2 = 12
So, time required to reach at 2nd floor of the basement = 12 × 3 m\sec
= 36 m/sec.
