The possible chance of appearance of the white coloured flowers may be that plant received two recessive alleles for flower colour, one from each parent which were expressed in homozygous condition in the offspring plant.

The coloured flowers may be due to presence of dominant alleles and when recessive alleles come together, they get expressed and produce white coloured flowers.
