The correct option is A Its velocity can become zero
Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity with respect to time.
Now as per the graph provided we observe that at t=2 seconds acceleration is 0, which indicates that change of velocity must be zero at that instant. Now if we consider that initially if the body is at rest, and to get an acceleration of 0m/s2, final velocity must be also 0 m/s, which indicates that at t=2 seconds the body is at rest.
Thus the bodies velocity can become zero.
