The distance cover 5 m in time interval 1 s means its speed is 5m/s.
Using, v=at, t=v/a=5/2s
For next interval, t1=t+1=5/2+1=7/2s
For after time t1, the speed will be v1=at1=2(7/2)=7m/s
Thus, distance covered by next 1 s interval will be 7m.
