The correct option is B $6 s$
We know that,

$s = u t + \frac{1}{2} a t^{2}$

$\Rightarrow 0 = 6 t + \frac{1}{2} (- 2) t^{2}$

$\Rightarrow 6 t - t^{2} = 0$

$\Rightarrow t (6 - t) = 0$

$∴ t = 6 s$

Hence, after $6 s$ particle will be at the starting point.
