The given figure is a hexagonal pyramid.

It contains one hexagonal base and 6 triangular faces.

Total surface area = Base area + 6 × area of one triangular face

294 = 168 + 6 × area of one triangular face

6 × area of one triangular face = 294 - 168 = 126

Area of one trianglular face = 1266 = 21 sq cm

Hence, area of one triangular face = 21 sq cm.
