The correct option is B 38.5 lit.

Volume of a Cylinder =πR2h

Radius of the cylindrical bowl =72cm

Hence, capacity of 1 bowl =227×72×72×4=154cm3
For 250 patients, amount of soup required =250×154=38500cm3

One litre of soup requires 1000cm3 of volume.

Hence, amount of soup required for 250 patients =385001000=38.5 litres.
