The correct option is B $7 m$
As per the question, person climbs $0.5 m$ in one second. So, in $10 s$ , he will climb $10 \times 0.5 = 5 m$ up the pole.
Since, he starts climbing from the height of $2 m$ , therefore, from the base of the pole he will be at the height of $5 + 2 = 7 m$
