The correct option is B 7 m
As per the question, person climbs 0.5 m in one second. So, in 10 s, he will climb 10×0.5=5 m up the pole.
Since, he starts climbing from the height of 2 m, therefore, from the base of the pole he will be at the height of 5+2=7 m
