Let no of days he worked = x

No of days he was absent = (40-x)

So required equation 150x - 30(40-x) =3300

150x-1200+30x =3300 1

80x =3300+1800

$X = \frac{4500}{18}$

X=25

Therefore, the worker worked for 25 days
