Question

A person is supplied with blood from the blood bank. In blood bank, blood is stored with synthetic anti-coagulants. So, when supplied, does the body reduce the amount of anti-coagulant in it or is it done before supplying? Kindly explain, how it is done.

During transfusion, the anticoagulant mixed blood doesn’t make any difference in the recipient’s body as the body contains much more amount of blood in comparison to the blood getting transfused.
