Solution

The correct option is A 32
If a person sells 36 oranges for ₹ 1, then the selling price of one orange is ₹ 136

Let the cost price of one orange be ₹ x.

Given, x136x=4100

100×(x136)=4x

100x10036=4x

96x=10036

x=10036×96=25864

Let the required selling price be y, for which the profit is 8%

y2586425864=8100

y25864=8100×25864

y25864=2864

y=27864=132

Thus, to get a profit of 8%, the selling price of orange should be 132

Or, for ₹ 1, 32 oranges must be sold.
