Let the C.P. of the article be $R s . x$ Then,

Now, $G a i n % = (\frac{G a i n}{C . P .} \times 100) %$

$\Rightarrow G a i n % = (\frac{\frac{x}{10}}{x} \times 100) % = 10 %$
