A person wishes to hit target from a tower of height 32 m by throwing a projectile at 10 m/s aiming directly to it as shown in figure. How short from target will the projectile fall? ($g=10m/s^2$)Write until two digits after the decimal point.

$\tan 53=\frac{4}{3}=\frac{R+x}{32}$

By $=-32=-6t-\frac{1}{2}\times 10.t^2$
$5t^2+6t-32=0$
$t=-\frac{6\pm \sqrt{36+4\times 5\times 32}}{2\times 5}=2sec$
$R=8\times 2=16m$
So $R+x=\frac{32\times 4}{3}$
$x=\frac{32\times 4}{3}-16=26.666$
