Solution

The correct option is C 360 litres

Given, a pipe supplies 30 litres of water every 10 mins.

We know that larger is the capacity of the tank, the time taken by the pipe to fill the tank will be more.

So,

Capacity of tank(x) time taken(y)

x1y1 = x2y2

Given,
x1 = 30 litres
y1 = 10 mins
y2 = 2 × 60 = 120 mins
and x2 = capacity of the tank

3010 = x2120

x2 = 30 × 12010 = 360

Hence, the capacity of the tank is 360 litres.
