The correct option is A 0.4 cm away from the mirror
Mirror formula
1f=1v+1u1f=120+1(10)f=203cm.
If object moves towards the mirror by 0.1 cm then. u =(10-0.1)=9.9 cm.
Hence again from mirror formula 1203=1v+19.9v=20.4cm
i.e. image shifts away from the mirror by 0.4 cm.
